So what about you? Do people on your planet have abilities like bending or something? [ Though he looks unsure for a second because he doesn't want to ask anything too personal. ]

I guess you could call it that! Have you ever heard of telekinesis? Or, well—any sorts of psychic powers?

[ He's thinking about that. And thinking about the Lion Turtle teaching him how to energy bend. But... He shakes his head. ]

I haven't. Sounds cool though. [ the names at least. ] Telekinesis. [ He just says it to say it. ]

Oh, well, it's not too complicated! Basically it means I can move things with my mind. Liiike... this!

[she raises her hand and looks in the direction of the refreshments table! in a few moments, there are two cups of punch (non-spiked, thank you) headed toward them, all while M'gann grins.]

[ Aang's eyes widen in awe. ] WOW! [ He takes the drink and stares at it for a couple of seconds. ] That was amazing!
I've never seen anything like it! [ Illusions and bending maybe, but never someone with the ability to move objects with their mind. ] Man, I bet you could move the entire ship if you wanted to!

What did the people on your planet do with these abilities? Help people?

Oh! Well... sometimes! Mostly, though, we just... used them in everyday life.

It was a different situation when my uncle J'onn went to Earth, though. Humans aren't all born with powers like Martians are, so he used his abilities to become a hero there.

Sounds like your uncle J'onn is a pretty amazing. You seem pretty knowledgeable about Earth. Did you go to visit him a lot?

He really is. And he's the reason I got to go to Earth in the first place, actually! He took me under his wing, so that I could be part of the future generation of Earth's protectors.

It must have been tough leaving your home. But helping people is important. This Earth planet must be pretty bad if they need heroes from other worlds. [ He can't even imagine. ]

My planet's full of element benders and then there's the Avatar. And the Spirits of course, but all of those things are connected to my planet.
